1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing and using Profit Shield ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the App. These terms apply to all users of the App.

2. Description of Service

Profit Shield is a Shopify application that provides profit margin analysis, shipping cost analysis, return tracking, and inventory reorder alerts. The App accesses data from your Shopify store to calculate and display profitability insights.

3. Account and Access

You must have an active Shopify store to use Profit Shield. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account. You agree to use the App only for lawful business purposes.

4. Pricing and Billing

Profit Shield offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Billing is handled entirely through Shopify's built-in billing system. Key terms:

• Subscription charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice
• You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from the App's Settings page
• Downgrading may result in deactivation of extra modules beyond your plan's limit
• Refunds are handled according to Shopify's refund policy

5. Limitation of Liability

Profit Shield provides profit calculations based on the data you provide (COGS, shipping costs) and data from your Shopify store. These calculations are for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial advice. We are not responsible for business decisions made based on the App's calculations. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of the cost data you enter.

6. Data Accuracy

The accuracy of profit margin calculations depends on the accuracy of the cost data you provide. Shopify fees are estimated at 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction and may vary depending on your Shopify plan and payment provider. We do our best to provide accurate calculations but cannot guarantee exact figures.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep Profit Shield available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned maintenance.

8. Intellectual Property

Profit Shield, including its design, features, and code, is owned by us. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for your Shopify store. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.

9. Termination

You can terminate your use of Profit Shield at any time by uninstalling the App from your Shopify store. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
